Change Storing of Subject

Subject retentionThe retention time of the subject (if it’s stored) is defined via Change Metadata Retention.

The configuration is done in the shared/guarded_tenants.yml file:

The following values are supported for keepEmailSubject:

Value	Description
`NEVER`	Never store the subject
`ALWAYS` (default)	Always store the subject
`ON_DROP_BOUNCE_AND_QUARANTINE`	Keep only if the email was quarantined or dropped
`ON_DROP_BOUNCE_QUARANTINE_AND_REWRITE`	Keep only if the email was either quarantined or dropped, or if it was delivered with a modified subject
